IMPORTANT NOTES: For video shorter is better, it grabs attention and holds it but usually for a shorter period of time. Shorter videos 5 minutes or less are best for corporate overviews, web video, simple training, congratulations, sales presentation, demo video. Longer videos are necessary to complete longer training, or to explain more complicated concepts, or for seminars, or speeches.

A professionally written script is extremely important to make the video effective; it is a fine mix of communication, entertainment and video psychology, executed correctly it will drive the video forward. Generally one day of videotaping is required for each 5 minutes (although this can vary widely) Number of locations can eat up a shoot day, as setup of camera and lights take time so does travel if required.

Professional actors can believably act out scenes that an amateur can't, and the drama they bring to the screen will help the video come alive.

A professional on camera host will actually speed up the production and they convey a professional touch that can't be matched. The on camera host can also act as the voice over announcer saving you that additional expense.

An animated title opening sequence is critical in grabbing the attention of the viewer, by introducing the topic and making the entire program enticing enough for the viewer to give it full attention. Portions of the sequence can be used throughout the video creating continuity and a stylized professional look. Remember your viewers will judge your video on what they have seen on broadcast television, you must compete to keep the viewers attention.
